📦 What is Curbside Delivery?

Curbside Delivery is our in-person delivery service for items that can’t safely ship through a standard carrier — oversized items like floorstanding speakers, fragile items like turntables, or any combination of gear. If you’re buying a system or a batch of components, we can deliver everything together in one trip. No freight company, no pallet — just a friendly member of our team pulling up to your door. 🏠

🗺️ What areas do you deliver to?

Our Curbside Delivery Corridor runs from Windsor to Quebec City — if you’re located along or near that route, we can likely deliver to you. Just ask!

🏙️ Local (within ~1 hour of Ottawa): We can generally arrange deliveries within 2–3 business days.

🛣️ Along our corridor (GTA, Montreal, and points in between): We run periodic delivery trips — typically every 2–3 weeks for each route. If we have several orders come in quickly, we may add an extra trip sooner.

💲 How much does Curbside Delivery cost?

Delivery fees vary depending on your location and the size/quantity of your item(s). We’ll provide you with a delivery quote before you commit to anything. Local deliveries within the Ottawa area will generally be less expensive than longer-distance trips along our corridor.

🛒 How do I place an order for a non-shippable item?

Before you purchase, reach out to us first! Hit the pink Ask a Question button on the product listing and include the following in your message:

• Your postal code (Canadian customers)
• Your zip code or full address (US and international customers — we’ll need this to obtain an accurate freight or delivery quote)
• Whether you’re interested in Curbside Delivery, freight shipping, or quotes for both

We’ll come back to you with quotes and estimated timeframes for each option so you can make an informed decision before committing to anything. Once you’re happy with the details, we’ll walk you through checkout from there.

💡 Tip: If you’re buying a mix of shippable and non-shippable items, we can bundle everything into one delivery — no need to split your order!

💳 How do I pay?

All Curbside Delivery orders require full prepayment — both the product purchase and the delivery fee must be paid in advance before delivery is scheduled. ⚠️ We do not offer COD (cash on delivery) or split-payment arrangements for deliveries.

📅 How is the delivery scheduled?

Once your order and delivery fee are paid in full, we’ll assign your delivery to one of our team members. They’ll contact you directly to arrange a day and time that works for you. ✅

🚚 How does the delivery day work?

Your delivery driver will provide updates on the day of delivery, including a more specific ETA as they get closer to your location. 📍 When they arrive, you’ll meet them at their vehicle — in your driveway or at the curb — to receive your item(s).

Have a mobility limitation or difficulty carrying heavy gear? No problem — just let us know when you submit your inquiry and we’ll plan accordingly. If arranged in advance, our team can bring your item(s) into your front entranceway. Please note that we’re not able to provide setup or placement services beyond the entryway.

📎 Can I combine multiple items in one delivery?

Absolutely! Whether it’s a full system (receiver, speakers, turntable, cables) or just a couple of pieces, we’ll bundle everything into a single delivery trip for you. One trip, one delivery fee. 🎶

🚛 What if I want to buy oversized items but I’m well outside your delivery corridor?

We don’t want distance to stand between you and great audio! If you’re outside our corridor but have your heart set on floorstanding speakers or other non-shippable items, we can arrange shipment via a third-party freight carrier at your expense.

Here’s how freight shipping works: A large transport truck will come directly to your address. The driver will use a tailgate lift to lower your item(s) — secured and strapped to a pallet (skid) — from the truck bed to the pavement, and then a dolly to bring the skid to your front door or loading area. From there, removing the items from the pallet and bringing them inside is the customer’s responsibility. It’s a bit of a production, but it’s the safest way to move heavy or oversized audio gear over long distances.

A few things to know:

• Each freight shipment requires a custom quote based on your location and the size/weight of the item(s) — hit the pink Ask a Question button on the listing and include your full address so we can get you an accurate number.
• Freight shipping is not cheap — prices start at approximately $400 CAD and up.
• We handle all the packaging and coordination with the freight company on our end. You just need to be available to receive the delivery.
