Radique has four techs on the bench and counting, and we’re looking for more. If you’re an experienced audio technician who’d like to service vintage hi-fi from your own bench, at your own pace, we’d love to meet you.
About us
Radique is a vintage and used hi-fi dealer in Kanata. Every component we sell is bench-tested and serviced as needed. Then a second tech tests it again before it goes out the door. Demand keeps growing, and so does our bench team.
What you’d work on
Vintage solid-state receivers and amplifiers from Marantz, Pioneer, Sansui, Technics and friends. Also cassette decks, turntables, CD players and tuners. Typical jobs:
- full bench tests and troubleshooting
- recaps
- cleaning and lubrication
- relay and switch service
- bias and DC offset alignment
You might be a great fit if you have:
- Years of hands-on electronics repair, ideally with vintage audio
- Your own tools and test gear: soldering station, meter, scope, signal generator, dummy loads
- A home workshop set up for bench work
- Comfort sourcing your own parts
- A vehicle, and you live within easy driving distance of Kanata, so you can pick up and return batches
- The independence to work on your own and keep simple notes on what you found and fixed
