When we sent Issue #1 back in January, we told you about our growth spurt. Well… we haven’t slowed down. Since then we’ve become an authorized dealer for not one but TWO legendary audio brands, published our wildest video yet (it involves polar bears — really), fully launched a new amplifier, rebuilt big chunks of the website, and Mark has a personal update we think some of you will want to read.

🐻 Polar Bears Made Us a Kimber Kable Dealer (True Story)
Some business milestones you plan. This one found us — by way of Churchill, Manitoba, polar bear capital of the world.
Bill runs the Iceberg Inn up in Churchill (“Where Polar Bears Meet Pillows”). He found us on Best Buy Marketplace, ordered some custom Radique cables, loved them, and kept upgrading… until he’d pulled us all the way into becoming an authorized Kimber Kable dealer in Canada.

A confession before we move on: this bear has already claimed its first victim. The night the video went live, we rolled the thumbnail out across all our Kimber listings. Hours later, Mark was scrolling one of those very listings on the big office monitor — late, distracted, coffee long gone — glanced back at the screen, and found a polar bear looming out of the darkness at him. He jumped. In his own chair. Startled by his own bear, on his own website, that he’d asked to be put there. La-Donna has been asked not to comment. 🐻

A Personal Note from Mark
In our first issue, I shared that after 8 years of managing type 2 diabetes, I had just come off insulin. A few of you wrote back with such kind words, so I wanted to give you the six-month update.
I’m still insulin-free — and at my last appointment, my doctor told me I was her first patient ever to come completely off it. At my peak I was taking 220 units a day, so believe me: I’m not sharing that to boast. I’m sharing it because a year ago I flatly wouldn’t have believed it was possible, and maybe someone reading this needs to hear that it can be.
There was no shortcut. Over five years of steady exercise and cutting back my food intake, I lost about 30 pounds — hard-fought, a little at a time. But here’s the part that surprised me: since coming off insulin, another 30-plus pounds have come off much faster. Without insulin working to hang on to every pound, my body finally started letting go. Sixty pounds all told — which you may notice in our upcoming videos. If a certain slimmer fellow shows up dancing on our YouTube channel this week… now you know part of the story behind it.
