Often more so than new. Gear from the golden age of audio — the 1970s and 1980s — was built to last generations; much of today’s equipment embraces planned obsolescence and surface-mount parts that make repair difficult or impossible.

Why buy used and vintage audio from Radique instead of a private seller?
Every used and vintage component we sell is inspected and serviced as required, then backed by our Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty and eligible for our Perpetual Trade-Back Program. Private sellers can’t offer that, and you avoid the risk of fraud, misrepresentation or gear that doesn’t work. We can’t match the cheapest private listings on price, but you get far more for the difference.
Is vintage audio equipment reliable?
Yes, when it’s properly maintained. Gear from the 1970s and 1980s was built with heavy transformers, discrete components and robust circuit boards, and was designed to be serviced. Every piece we sell is inspected and serviced as required before it’s listed.
How big is Radique’s inventory?
We keep over 1,000 used and vintage components in stock — Canada’s largest online selection of curated used and vintage audio — plus our full Radique Audio line of cables, adapters and electronics.
Do you ship outside Canada?
Yes. We ship across Canada, to the US and overseas, packed in 275 lb-test double-wall boxes with commercial-grade bubble wrap. In the past year we’ve shipped to 15 countries. US customers should read our page on US import duties before ordering.
Can I hear gear before I buy it?
Yes. Local customers can book an in-person audition in Ottawa by appointment, and we’re happy to set up and demo a component when you pick it up.

Can Radique order new equipment?
Yes. We’re an authorized Canadian dealer for Marantz, Denon and Polk Audio, and can also special-order Definitive Technology, sourced direct from the Canadian distributor at competitive prices. Request a quote on our Marantz, Denon or Polk Audio pages. New components from these brands ship within Canada only, and for the first 30 days we look after any manufacturer warranty claim for you.
Will Radique try to upsell me?
No. We give honest advice even when it costs us a sale. If what you already own is up to the job, or a serviced vintage piece is better value than something new, we’ll tell you.
Does Radique repair audio equipment?
