A 1991 Philips design sold under the Magnavox badge: the TDA1543 16-bit dual-channel DAC behind a 4x oversampling filter, and the CDM-4/19 swing-arm transport that anyone who works on these players hopes to find inside. Fixed 2V RCA output, detachable IEC cord. It plays CD-Rs, confirmed in our testing. No remote; everything works from the front panel. Good cosmetic condition.
