Denon DRA-435R Stereo Receiver – 55 WPC, Phono, Japan
Fifty-five watts a channel into 8 ohms at 0.05% distortion, with response out to 50 kHz. Quartz-synthesised AM/FM tuning, a moving-magnet phono stage at 2.5 mV into 47 kilohms, a preamp output and A/B speaker switching. Built by Nippon Columbia between 1991 and 1993. The original Denon remote is included.

50 watts a channel into 8 ohms, 10 Hz to 50 kHz, with an MM phono stage at 2.5 mV for a turntable. Rotary bass, treble and balance, and a motorised illuminated volume knob — an odd bit of theatre on a receiver this plain. AM/FM tuner built in, black finish, 13.7 pounds. Made in Japan in the early 1990s.
