Overview

The IsoAcoustics GAIA II is a premium 4-pack of speaker isolators from Canadian company IsoAcoustics, designed to help floor-standing speakers and subwoofers sound cleaner, more open, and more controlled by reducing structure-borne vibration. Rated for speakers and subwoofers up to 120 lbs (54 kg) per set, the GAIA II is aimed at more substantial loudspeakers that need more load capacity than the GAIA III can offer.

IsoAcoustics positions the GAIA line around improved clarity, openness, and reduced smear from unwanted vibration getting reflected back into the cabinet. In plain English: less blur, tighter bass, and a more locked-in soundstage when the speaker and room are working against each other.

Build & Design

The GAIA II uses a stainless-steel housing with a clean, high-quality finish that looks properly at home under serious loudspeakers. The retail 4-pack measures approximately 6.3" long x 6.1" wide x 2.2" high and weighs about 2.4 lbs, so it feels like a substantial upgrade rather than a throwaway accessory.

Installation is intended for compatible threaded speakers and subwoofers. This set includes thread adaptors in the three most common sizes: M6-1.0, M8-1.25, and 1/4"-20. As with other GAIA models, IsoAcoustics recommends orienting the logo toward the listening position, or rotated 180 degrees, to align with the speaker’s motive forces.
