Overview

The IsoAcoustics GAIA Carpet Discs are a must-have add-on for customers using GAIA speaker isolators on thicker carpet or carpet with underpad. These solid stainless steel discs provide a stable contact point under the GAIA isolators so the system can maintain proper grip and support on carpeted flooring.

IsoAcoustics positions the Carpet Discs as the final step once the GAIA isolators are installed and the speaker is in its final position. In plain English: they help stop your carefully isolated speaker from perching on a soft, squishy surface like it’s standing in wet sand.

Build & Design

This variable listing lets customers choose the correct Carpet Disc set for GAIA I, GAIA II, or GAIA III. All versions are sold as a set of 4 and use solid stainless steel construction with integrated spikes designed to anchor through the carpet pile.

The carpet spikes are approximately 0.6" (15 mm) long. Packaging is compact at roughly 5" x 4" x 1", making this an easy but important add-on for GAIA installations on carpet.

Performance & Compatibility

The Carpet Discs are designed to maintain stable support on carpet and improve performance when GAIA isolators are used on thicker pile carpet or carpet with underpads. They are optional on thin carpet, but strongly recommended when the speaker needs a more solid foundation beneath the isolators.
