Adcom GFA-545 Stereo Power Amplifier 100WPC – Highly Regarded.
Classic Nelson Pass–designed Adcom GFA-545 stereo power amplifier delivering 100 watts per channel of clean, high-current power with strong dynamics and control.
The Adcom GFA-545 is one of the most respected vintage solid-state power amps in its class, known for combining serious current capability, low distortion, and a neutral yet engaging sound signature. Rated at 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and stable into 4 ohm loads, it comfortably drives a wide variety of loudspeakers, including many that challenge lesser amplifiers. Designed with a robust linear power supply, dual-mono-style channel layout, and high damping factor, the GFA-545 offers tight, authoritative bass, open midrange, and clean treble that still hold up against many modern amplifiers at significantly higher prices. This unit is in good cosmetic condition for its age, with typical light wear but no major damage, and has been tested to confirm proper operation.
Rear-panel RCA inputs and heavy-duty binding posts make system integration straightforward with both vintage and modern preamps and speakers. Generous headroom and very low noise make it an excellent match for revealing speakers or higher-sensitivity designs, where background hiss or hum from lesser amps can become intrusive. For many enthusiasts, the GFA-545 occupies a sweet spot between the smaller 535 and the bigger 555—offering enough power for most real rooms without the heat and size penalties of larger designs.

Sixty watts a channel into 8 ohms at 0.03% distortion, a damping factor of 280, and response running out to 120kHz. A rear-panel switch bridges the two channels into a single 120-watt mono amplifier, so a second one later gives you monoblocks. The speaker terminals clamp bare wire or spades only — no bananas. Very good condition, inspected and tested.

NAD C 272 Stereo Power Amplifier 150 WPC, 300 Watts Bridged
Start with the number that is not on the front: 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 150 into 4. Most amplifiers quote a comfortable 8 ohm figure and hope you never connect anything harder; this one holds its full rating into half the impedance, from a high-current Holmgren toroidal feeding all-discrete circuitry with NAD's PowerDrive topology behind it. A BRIDGE MODE switch on the back turns it into a single mono channel of roughly 300 watts into 8 ohms, so the system can be rearranged later rather than replaced. Very Good condition.
