A wall-mount surge protector built for the spot where a power bar will not fit — behind a television, beside a desk, or in the tangle behind an equipment rack — with seven protected outlets, two of them swivelling to clear oversized adapters, and three USB charging ports built in.

Two swivel outlets sound like a small thing until a wall-wart eats three sockets on an ordinary bar. Rotating them out of the way is the difference between using seven outlets and using four. The three USB ports then take phones, tablets and controllers off the AC outlets entirely, which is usually where a power strip runs out of room first — each one auto-senses and delivers up to 2.4 amps, so a tablet charges at full rate rather than trickling.
