Overview

The IsoAcoustics OREA Bordeaux is the heaviest-duty model in the OREA series, built for hi-fi components and speakers that need serious low-profile isolation without stepping up to a larger stand or platform. It is aimed at customers running heavier amps, substantial components, or speaker setups where the lighter OREA models would be under-specced.

Like the rest of the OREA lineup, the Bordeaux is sold individually rather than in sets, giving customers the flexibility to build a 3-foot or 4-foot configuration based on the exact needs of their gear.

Build & Design

The OREA Bordeaux uses a machined stainless-steel body with a low-profile form factor measuring 2.6” wide x 1.4” high (67 x 36 mm). Each unit is tuned for a specific working range, and the Bordeaux version is identified by its bordeaux-coloured ring on the bottom isolator.

This is a single-unit retail package. IsoAcoustics recommends using a minimum of 3 units under each component, depending on the weight distribution and the application.

Performance & Compatibility

The OREA Bordeaux supports up to 32 lbs (14.5 kg) per isolator. A 3-unit setup supports components up to 96 lbs (43.5 kg), while a 4-unit setup supports up to 128 lbs (58 kg), provided the weight is distributed appropriately.

IsoAcoustics positions the OREA series as an ideal isolation solution for amplifiers, DACs, CD players, speakers, and turntables. For heavier components where the Bronze, Indigo, or Graphite models do not offer enough headroom, Bordeaux is the correct low-profile step up in the range.
