Shaped like one-eighth of a sphere so it drops into a corner and loads off both the floor and the walls. An 8-inch treated paper cone driven by a built-in 100-watt amplifier in a reflex-tuned enclosure, 38 Hz to 195 Hz. Satin silver, 35 lbs. It took an Innovations Design and Engineering Award from the CEA.
Mission m70 Bookshelf Speakers – Compact British Design
Mission's Inverted Driver Geometry puts the 110mm woven glass composite woofer above the 25mm ferrofluid-cooled soft dome so both arrive together. Dual front-firing ports take the response down to 65 Hz and let them sit close to a wall. 87 dB, 8 ohms, 15 to 75 watts, 7 lbs each. Very good condition; both sweep-tested.

Two things to tell you: a ding on the top side edge of one cabinet, and third-party binding posts a previous owner fitted to one speaker. Otherwise good — and the design is the interesting part, since Mission's inverted geometry puts the tweeter below the woofer to bring the two into step at seated ear height. Made in England.

13 cm deep, so it sits on top of a television or mounts on the wall under a flat panel instead of blocking it. Two-way reflex cabinet with an anti-turbulence rear port, fully magnetically shielded, 75 Hz to 20 kHz, 89 dB, 8 ohms, crossed at 2.8 kHz. Rated 25 to 100 watts on 4 mm gold-plated binding posts.
