High End PSB Tower Speakers in High Gloss Black Stratus Silver
Second from the top of PSB’s Stratus line — and the one plenty of listeners end up preferring to the flagship Gold. Where the Golds are power-hungry and fussy about how close they sit to the back wall, the Silvers are efficient and far more forgiving of placement: two 6.5-inch polypropylene woofers and a ferrofluid-cooled aluminium dome, flat to 35 Hz, happy on a good receiver. Made in Canada, high-gloss black, 56 lb each. Very Good condition. Pair — pickup in Kanata, or we deliver.
Bowers & Wilkins DM2000 Floorstanding Speakers – Walnut Finish
Built in England between 1983 and 1986, and it handles its bass the unusual way — a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver working against a matching 6.5-inch passive radiator rather than a port, so the low end stays controlled with none of the chuffing a port can add. The 1-inch dome is electronically time-delayed to hold phase through a fourth-order Butterworth crossover. Walnut veneer, 87 dB into 8 ohms, 55 lb each. Very Good condition. Pair — pickup in Kanata, or we deliver.
