In stereo mode the 2B delivers 50–60 watts per channel into 8 ohms and approximately 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with the option to bridge the amplifier for a single 200-watt channel into 8 ohms. Frequency response extends from below 1Hz to beyond 100kHz, ensuring ruler-flat performance across and beyond the audible band. Total harmonic distortion is specified at less than 0.01% from 20Hz to 20kHz at rated output, so what you hear is the character of your source and speakers, not the amplifier. The dual-mono design uses separate power supplies and transformer windings for each channel, yielding high channel separation, low crosstalk, and a very stable soundstage.

Balanced XLR inputs on this unit make it particularly attractive for balanced preamps, studio interfaces, and longer cable runs where noise rejection is important. Input sensitivity is approximately 0.775V for full rated output, and input impedance is 10k ohms on the balanced XLR inputs, with Bryston’s discrete active input circuitry preserving signal integrity.
