A small machined foot with IsoAcoustics isolation inside. Three or four of them go under an amplifier, a CD player or a turntable, in place of its own feet or beside them.

The short answer

IsoAcoustics OREA Bronze is a single isolation foot, rated 8 lb (3.6 kg), that goes under an amplifier, DAC, CD player, turntable or small speaker. You use at least three under each component, so three carry 24 lb (10.8 kg) and four carry 32 lb (14.4 kg). It’s machined stainless steel, 2 in wide and 1.1 in tall (50 × 29 mm), with a bronze ring that marks the model.

OREA is sold one foot at a time, and the ratings add up. Weigh the component, then pick the model and count whose total sits above it. IsoAcoustics asks for at least three feet per component.

What OREA Bronze does

Isolation in a small foot

IsoAcoustics’ isolation in a low-profile machined stainless foot. It decouples the component from the shelf, which IsoAcoustics says brings out clarity and detail.

Three or more, and they add up

Each foot carries 8 lb (3.6 kg). IsoAcoustics asks for at least three under a component; three or four is typical, and the total rating is the per-foot figure times the number of feet.

Questions we get about this one

How many do you need?

At least three per component. Three OREA Bronze feet carry 24 lb (10.8 kg) and four carry 32 lb (14.4 kg). Weigh the component and choose the count, or the model, that rates above it.

Bronze, Graphite or Indigo?

Go by weight. Graphite carries 4 lb (1.8 kg) a foot, for small DACs and streamers; Bronze carries 8 lb (3.6 kg); Indigo carries 16 lb (7.2 kg), for heavier amplifiers and turntables. Three Bronze feet suit a component up to 24 lb (10.8 kg).

Where do the feet go?

With four, one near each corner. With three, IsoAcoustics suggests two at the back corners and one at the front center, which suits components that are heavier at the back.

Do the component’s own feet have to come off?

No. You can remove them, or set the OREAs beside them so the OREAs touch the chassis and carry the weight.

Is this one foot or a set?

One foot. Set the quantity to three or four before you add it to your cart.

What warranty does it have?

Brand new in IsoAcoustics’ retail box, with IsoAcoustics’ 2-year manufacturer’s warranty in Canada against defects in materials and workmanship. If anything is wrong, contact us and we’ll handle it with IsoAcoustics. More in our warranty FAQ.

Under floor-standing speakers

GAIA isolators screw in place of your spikes, one set of four per speaker: GAIA III to 70 lb, GAIA II to 120 lb, GAIA I to 220 lb and the GAIA-TITAN Theis to 320 lb. Subwoofers sit on the Aperta Sub.
