OREA Graphite: the OREA for small components

The smallest, lightest-rated OREA. Three of them under a DAC, a streamer or a phono stage give it IsoAcoustics isolation in a footprint barely bigger than its own feet.

Which size What it does Specs Why Radique FAQ

The short answer

IsoAcoustics OREA Graphite is a single isolation foot, rated 4 lb (1.8 kg), that goes under a small component such as a DAC, streamer or phono stage. You use at least three under each component, so three carry 12 lb (5.4 kg) and four carry 16 lb (7.2 kg). It’s machined stainless steel, 1.6 in wide and 1.1 in tall (40 × 27 mm), with a graphite ring that marks the model.

Pick your OREA by weight

OREA is sold one foot at a time, and the ratings add up. Weigh the component, then pick the model and count whose total sits above it. IsoAcoustics asks for at least three feet per component.

Model	Per foot	Three feet	Four feet	Size (W × H)
OREA Graphite (this one)	4 lb (1.8 kg)	12 lb (5.4 kg)	16 lb (7.2 kg)	1.6 × 1.1 in (40 × 27 mm)
OREA Bronze	8 lb (3.6 kg)	24 lb (10.8 kg)	32 lb (14.4 kg)	2 × 1.1 in (50 × 29 mm)
OREA Indigo	16 lb (7.2 kg)	48 lb (21.6 kg)	64 lb (28.8 kg)	2.3 × 1.3 in (58 × 33 mm)
OREA Bordeaux	32 lb (14.5 kg)	96 lb (43.5 kg)	128 lb (58 kg)	2.6 × 1.4 in (67 × 36 mm)

What OREA Graphite does

Isolation in a small foot

IsoAcoustics’ isolation in a low-profile machined stainless foot. It decouples the component from the shelf, which IsoAcoustics says brings out clarity and detail.

Three or more, and they add up

Each foot carries 4 lb (1.8 kg). IsoAcoustics asks for at least three under a component; three or four is typical, and the total rating is the per-foot figure times the number of feet.

Award-winning

OREA took Stereophile’s 2019 accessory Product of the Year and a 2020 Absolute Sound Golden Ear, and shared Hong Kong HiFi Review’s 2021 Product of the Year.

Questions we get about this one

How many do you need?

At least three per component. Three OREA Graphite feet carry 12 lb (5.4 kg) and four carry 16 lb (7.2 kg). Weigh the component and choose the count, or the model, that rates above it.

Graphite or Bronze?

Go by weight. Graphite carries 4 lb (1.8 kg) a foot, so three suit a component up to 12 lb (5.4 kg). Heavier than that, Bronze carries 8 lb (3.6 kg) a foot and Indigo 16 lb (7.2 kg).

Where do the feet go?

With four, one near each corner. With three, IsoAcoustics suggests two at the back corners and one at the front center, which suits components that are heavier at the back.

Do the component’s own feet have to come off?

No. You can remove them, or set the OREAs beside them so the OREAs touch the chassis and carry the weight.

Is this one foot or a set?

One foot. Set the quantity to three or four before you add it to your cart.

What warranty does it have?

Brand new in IsoAcoustics’ retail box, with IsoAcoustics’ 2-year manufacturer’s warranty in Canada against defects in materials and workmanship. If anything is wrong, contact us and we’ll handle it with IsoAcoustics. More in our warranty FAQ.

What does shipping cost? Is pickup possible?

Pickup in Kanata is free, by appointment. To have it shipped, add it to your cart and enter your city and postal code on the cart page: you’ll see live carrier rates before you commit. We ship across Canada and internationally. Buying it with one of our pre-owned speakers or components? Then it rides along in the same order at no extra shipping cost.

Not sure which OREA, or how many?

Tell us what the component is and roughly what it weighs, and we’ll tell you the model and the count.

Under floor-standing speakers

GAIA isolators screw in place of your spikes, one set of four per speaker: GAIA III to 70 lb, GAIA II to 120 lb, GAIA I to 220 lb and the GAIA-TITAN Theis to 320 lb. Subwoofers sit on the Aperta Sub.

Under bookshelf speakers and monitors

The ISO-130, ISO-155 and ISO-200 stands lift, tilt and isolate desktop and shelf speakers; Aperta stands and ISO-PUCKs do the same job in other shapes.

Under turntables and electronics

OREA feet, sold singly and used three or four at a time, go under amplifiers, DACs and players. The zaZen I and zaZen II platforms give a turntable a quieter base.
