RA-Twin II, $39.00 →Rotel RB-970BX Stereo/Mono Power Amplifier 60 WPC — Made in Japan
A Made-in-Japan Rotel stereo power amplifier from the celebrated 970BX separates series, combining refined circuit engineering with exceptional versatility — including a bridged mono mode that unleashes 180 watts into a single channel.
The RB-970BX is the power stage to the RC-970BX preamplifier, and together they form one of the most respected budget-audiophile separates pairings of the 1990s. In stereo mode it delivers a confident 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms with vanishingly low THD of 0.03% and a damping factor of 280 — a figure that reflects tight, controlled bass response and authoritative speaker grip regardless of the load. The signal-to-noise ratio of 116 dB is exceptional and represents a level of quiet that lets the finest details in a recording come through cleanly.
The rear-panel bridged mono switch transforms the RB-970BX into a 180-watt monoblock — a compelling option for driving a centre channel, a subwoofer, or a demanding single speaker in a high-power application, all without purchasing additional hardware. Speaker load impedance is rated from 4 to 16 ohms in stereo and 8 ohms minimum in bridged mode, making it compatible with a wide range of loudspeakers. Frequency response extends to 100 kHz, preserving transient detail and air that lesser amplifiers simply discard.
This unit is in very good condition and has been thoroughly inspected and tested to confirm full functionality.

Gold Plated Banana Plugs by Radique Audio – Dual Set Screws
Dual set screws rather than a single screw or a compression sleeve, so the wire is held at two points and will not work loose behind the rack. Six-leaf gold-plated springs for a tighter grip in the binding post, full-length non-conductive jackets colour-coded for polarity, and gentle knurling that will not fray heavy cable. 19.4 g a pair, 25% heavier than the brand we used to carry. Fits 12 to 18 AWG.

Rotel RB-870 Stereo Power Amplifier – 60 WPC, Bridgeable to 120
Sixty watts a channel into 8 ohms at 0.03% distortion, a damping factor of 280, and response running out to 120kHz. A rear-panel switch bridges the two channels into a single 120-watt mono amplifier, so a second one later gives you monoblocks. The speaker terminals clamp bare wire or spades only — no bananas. Very good condition, inspected and tested.

NAD C 272 Stereo Power Amplifier 150 WPC, 300 Watts Bridged
Start with the number that is not on the front: 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 150 into 4. Most amplifiers quote a comfortable 8 ohm figure and hope you never connect anything harder; this one holds its full rating into half the impedance, from a high-current Holmgren toroidal feeding all-discrete circuitry with NAD's PowerDrive topology behind it. A BRIDGE MODE switch on the back turns it into a single mono channel of roughly 300 watts into 8 ohms, so the system can be rearranged later rather than replaced. Very Good condition.
