A pair of properly engineered stands for small to medium bookshelf speakers, with the one feature most stands at this size leave out.
The Concealed Cable Path
The three posts are cold-rolled steel, and the largest of them is hollow. Speaker wire drops in at the top plate and comes out at the base, so the cable runs down the inside of the stand instead of trailing across the floor behind it. It is a small thing that changes how a pair of speakers looks in a room, and it is the difference between a tidy setup and one you stop noticing for the wrong reasons.
Proportions and Stability
The proportions are sensible. A 10 by 12 inch base under a 23 inch column is a wide, planted stance, which is what stops a stand tipping when a speaker gets nudged. The 5 by 6.5 inch top plate suits a small or medium bookshelf cabinet, and the stands are rated to carry up to 50 lbs each, so there is no need to be careful about what goes on top.
Height and What It Suits
At 23 inches these sit lower than the 29 and 30 inch stands usually sold for compact monitors, which makes them a good match for a taller bookshelf cabinet or a lower seating position. Measure from the floor to your ear when seated, then subtract the height from the base of your speaker to its tweeter, and you will know quickly whether 23 inches is your number.
Spikes and Rubber Caps
The feet are threaded and adjustable, with spikes for carpet and rubber caps for hard flooring. Adjusting them individually also lets you level a stand on a floor that is not, which most rooms are not.
Easy to Reposition
At 10 lbs each they are easy to reposition on your own, and it is the wide base rather than sheer mass that keeps them planted.

Why Stands Are Worth It
Stands are the least glamorous purchase in a system and one of the few that reliably improves what you already own. Getting a bookshelf speaker off a shelf, off a sideboard and onto a planted steel column at the right height does more for imaging than most upgrades costing several times this.
