Our High Density Felt Pads are cut 1 inch across and a full 5 mm thick, in Radique’s signature Magenta. The self-adhesive backing grips any smooth surface and goes on in seconds — peel, press, done. Because the felt is dense rather than fluffy, it stays put under real weight instead of compressing flat and sliding.

What they do

Two jobs at once. They put a soft layer between your equipment and whatever it is standing on, so shelves, plinths, cabinet tops and hardwood floors stop collecting the fine rings and scratches that vintage feet leave behind. And they decouple the cabinet slightly from the surface, which takes the edge off the vibration that turns into audible colouration on a resonant shelf.

Where we use them

Everywhere, and that is not a figure of speech. These are fitted throughout our own shop — on small satellite speakers, on large towers, under CD players, and under vintage receivers well into the three-thousand-dollar range.

We are particularly fond of them on vintage Marantz and Pioneer models. They adhere beautifully to the original stock feet, adding a layer of isolation and protection without altering or removing anything the unit came with. Nothing is drilled, nothing is replaced, and it reverses in seconds. Two of the photographs above show exactly that — a pad doing its work under the corner of a cherry-cabinet Marantz.

A note on the colour

We used to offer these in grey as well. Grey has been discontinued and we now make them in Magenta only — it is our colour, and they spend their working life hidden underneath the gear anyway.
