Kimber 4PR Speaker Cables, 2 m Pair — Banana to Bare Wire

A matched two-metre pair of Kimber Kable 4PR, hand-terminated in our shop with Radique Audio Banana Plugs at the amplifier end and bare wire at the speaker end.

What it is

4PR is the cable that made Kimber’s reputation with people who do not normally believe in cables. The woven four-conductor geometry is not styling — the braid is the engineering, and it is why 4PR has stayed in the catalogue essentially unchanged for decades while fashions came and went around it. In the black-and-red jacket it is instantly recognisable to anyone who has spent time behind a rack.

Radique is an authorized Canadian Kimber Kable dealer. This is genuine Kimber cable, terminated by us and warranted by us.

Why this termination

It is the arrangement that suits the most common real-world situation. Radique Audio Banana Plugs go at the amplifier, where you plug and unplug most often and where a solid banana saves your knuckles and your temper. Bare wire goes at the speaker, where it will fit whatever the speaker happens to have. Our banana plugs are colour-coordinated so polarity reads at a glance.

How it is built

Every joint and termination is heat-shrink reinforced and colour-coordinated, with the splits and end segments reinforced for the real life of a cable behind a system.

Assembled by hand in Ottawa, and ready to ship or collect today — no build time, no waiting.

If a different length or termination suits you better

Our Custom Speaker Cable Builder will build 4PR to order, and 4PR is bi-wire capable if your speakers have dual binding posts.

The cable that converts sceptics, terminated the way most systems actually want it.
