Blaupunkt Micronic A-60 + T-60 Micro System – 20 WPC, Bundle

The complete Blaupunkt Micronic 60 system from 1981: the A-60 integrated amplifier and the matching T-60 AM/FM tuner and preamplifier, designed by Blaupunkt in Germany and made in Japan, together for less than buying them separately. Both have been tested on our bench and are in very good condition.

What it is

The Micronic 60 components were Blaupunkt’s answer to the micro hi-fi craze of the early 1980s, full-function separates shrunk to about a third of the usual width, and a matched pair is hard to find today. We love these. Stacked, the two make a complete stereo system about 25 cm wide and 11 cm tall.

The T-60 is the source center: an AM/FM tuner with a five-step LED signal meter and a stereo indicator, and a preamplifier that switches between the tuner, a phono input for your turntable, an aux input and a tape deck. Its output cable plugs straight into the A-60, the amplifier: 20 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with bass, treble, balance and click-stop volume controls, loudness, a headphone jack and LED power meters that read out each channel in watts. Add a pair of compact bookshelf speakers and a turntable, and you have a whole system that fits on one shelf.

The A-60’s speaker terminals are spring clips, which take bare wire or pin connectors, and it is happy with speakers from 4 to 16 ohms. Both units have voltage selectors on the back, set for 120 volts.
