Gorgeous 3-Way NHT Classic Series Center Speaker
Designed for an enveloping front soundstage NHT’s Classic Two C goes above and beyond most other center channel speakers. It features not two, not three, but four separate drivers to ensure that you hear every syllable spoken and every note played in your movies and TV shows. At the center of the Classic Two C sits a tweeter and midrange pair, surrounded by dual woofers. This arrangement helps produce crisp, engaging sound with excellent dispersion from the top down and from side to side. It’ll easily fill any small- to medium-sized room with realistic movie dialogue and special effects that will delight everyone on your couch.
Solid design keeps sound-muddying vibrations at bay Like all Classic Series speakers, the Classic Two C features an acoustic suspension (sealed) enclosure design. This means it uses air — nature’s most perfect spring force — to control the woofer motion, allowing for clean midrange and low distortion. It provides plenty of strength to let the dual 5-1/4″ aluminum woofers rock out without adding any unwanted resonance to your movie soundtracks and music. The sophisticated 3/4″ aluminum dome tweeter sits above a 2″ aluminum dome midrange. These two drivers are set in a tiny bezel that allows them to be placed very close together. The result is exceptionally even on- and off-axis response, so everyone in the room can enjoy the clear, sparkling sound.
Classic looks help create a Classic system This speaker features a beautiful, curvaceous cabinet made of very dense, rigid MDF. It’s covered in eight layers of high-gloss paint and two layers of clear coat that are hand-polished between each layer for lasting beauty. Place the Classic Two C on the included aluminum rails and set it below your TV. It’s magnetically shielded, so you can safely use it next to your video display.

Seventeen inches wide and 8.4 lbs, magnetically shielded, response 55 Hz to 50 kHz. From Onkyo's SKS-HT540 series, in the less common silver with a matching grille. Graded Good.
