The Image B4 sits at the entry point of PSB’s Image line, but benefits directly from driver technologies developed for PSB’s premium Imagine and flagship Synchrony families. The 1-inch titanium dome tweeter — borrowed from the Synchrony design — delivers smooth, uncolored highs with excellent detail retrieval, while the 4-inch long-excursion woofer uses the same proprietary clay ceramic-filled polypropylene cone found in the more expensive Imagine line. The result is a speaker that sounds markedly larger and more refined than its compact cabinet implies.

The heavy internal bracing and 1-1/8-inch thick MDF cabinet deliver an acoustically inert enclosure that keeps cabinet colorations to a minimum.
