Technics SU-G90 Integrated Amplifier – 130 WPC, Made in Japan
130 watts a channel into 8 ohms with both channels driven at 0.05% distortion, six analog inputs, an MM phono stage, and a separable pre-out/main-in loop for an active crossover or external amp. This 1991 design also carries a Dolby Pro Logic decoder with its own 15-watt rear amplifier section, so it can run a compact surround setup on its own. Made in Japan; good cosmetic condition.
Technics SU-V76 Vintage Integrated Amplifier – 100 WPC, Japan
A 1987 New Class A integrated: pure Class A at low levels, sliding to Class A/B when the music asks for it, 100 watts a channel into 8 ohms at 0.05% distortion. It draws about 30 watts at idle, which is how you know the Class A bias is real rather than a label. MM phono and A/B speaker switching. Level 1 serviced; good cosmetic condition.
Technics SA-X730 Stereo Receiver – 100 WPC, Phono, Remote
A Japanese-built receiver with seven inputs — phono, CD, tuner, DVD, tape, VCR1 and TV/VCR2 — an RDS FM/AM tuner with 30 presets, and the remote in the box. Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby 3 Stereo are aboard, but it is the two-channel side that this one is worth having for. Frequency response 10 Hz to 70 kHz. Level 1 serviced here.
Technics SL-PD6 5-Disc CD Changer, MASH DAC, Optical Out
A 1999 five-disc carousel from the end of the Technics CD era, made in Japan — four discs swap out while the fifth keeps playing. MASH 1-bit conversion, 0.007% distortion, 100 dB signal-to-noise, fixed 2 V RCA output and a Toslink optical out. Headphone jack with its own level control up front. All five positions tested and CD-R playback confirmed; a compatible non-original remote is included. Good cosmetic condition.
Technics 7-Band Graphic Equalizer – Made in Japan SH-8027
Seven bands a channel — 63 Hz, 160, 400, 1 k, 2.5 k, 6.3 k and 16 kHz — on illuminated red sliders you can read in a dark rack. Two RCA pairs in and out, a built-in mains cord, and an unswitched 150-watt accessory outlet on the back. Made in Japan somewhere between 1980 and 1985. Level 1 serviced here.
