The DM610 was produced from 1991 to 1992 as part of B&W’s 600 Series — a line designed with the more demanding digital sources of the 1990s specifically in mind. The sealed “closed box” design was chosen for its superior transient accuracy, ensuring that the attack and decay of musical notes are reproduced with precision and without the overhang that can colour bass from ported designs.
