Kimber Hero is a step-up analog interconnect built around Kimber Kable’s four-wire quadratic braid and designed for listeners who want greater bandwidth, lower noise, and more refined system performance from low-level signal links. Made in the USA, Hero uses four 19 AWG VariStrand copper conductors insulated with virgin FEP dielectric, giving it a more substantial design than Kimber’s entry-level interconnects while preserving the brand’s long-standing focus on musical accuracy.

Build & Design

Hero uses a four wire quadratic braid rather than conventional shielding, with the geometry itself helping provide wide bandwidth and strong noise rejection. Kimber specifies single and dual layer low-loss fluorocarbon dielectric, VariStrand copper conductors, and nitrogen-assisted hand-soldered termination. It is a more ambitious design than Tonik or PBJ, and the additional conductor complexity is central to what makes Hero a meaningful step up in the range.

Hero is aimed at serious two-channel and high-performance source-component systems where cleaner signal transfer, lower noise, and stronger spatial precision are worth chasing.
