This listing is for raw bulk 4TC cable, sold by the foot or by the meter, for customers who want the flexibility to buy exactly the amount they need.

Kimber describes 4TC as a high-current braided loudspeaker cable built around 8 strands of 19.5 AWG OFE copper in an 8-wire counter-opposed helix, with an aggregate conductor size of approximately 2 x 13 AWG. Instead of polyethylene insulation, 4TC uses a low-loss fluorocarbon dielectric, giving it a different place in the Kimber lineup and a cleaner, more technical look in its white / clear presentation.

Build & Design

4TC uses Kimber’s well-known braided geometry with 4 conductors per polarity leg and VariStrand copper conductors. Official Kimber materials also call out its low series induction design and fluorocarbon insulation, which help position 4TC as a more advanced option for customers who like the Kimber approach but want to step above 4PR.
