Overview

Kimber Tonik is Kimber Kable’s accessible entry into serious analog interconnect performance, built around the company’s long-running tri-braid field geometry and designed to deliver a clean, accurate, musically engaging signal path. Tonik uses VariStrand ultrapure copper conductors and a polyethylene dielectric to combine low loss with a smooth, harmonically natural presentation.

This listing covers the Tonik interconnect range we’re stocking in standard pairs, with a choice of four lengths and three termination options: Ultratike, WBT-0114 CU, or balanced XLR.

Build & Design

Tonik uses Kimber’s legendary 3 wire braid geometry rather than a conventional coaxial layout, helping reduce noise pickup while preserving flexibility and everyday usability. Conductors are Kimber’s VariStrand ultrapure copper, paired with a clear and white PE dielectric. Single-ended versions use Kimber’s Ultratike RCA connector, while the balanced version uses studio-grade XLR connectors with silver-plated contacts. WBT-0114 CU RCA terminations are also available for buyers who want a more premium connector option.

Performance & Compatibility

Tonik is aimed at listeners who want a meaningful step up from generic interconnects without jumping straight into the deep end of the cable pool.
