Description

JVC TD-W709 Dual Cassette Deck — Auto-Reverse, Dolby B/C, HX Pro

Made in Japan, the JVC TD-W709 is a dual-well auto-reverse cassette deck from 1993–95 that handles recording, playback, and high-speed dubbing across both transports. With Dolby B, Dolby C, and HX Pro on board, plus support for Normal, CrO2, and Metal tape types, it covers all the essentials for cassette enthusiasts looking for a reliable, well-featured deck.

Both decks offer auto-reverse playback, and Deck 1 handles recording duties with relay play available across both transports for extended unattended listening. Pitch control allows fine-tuning of playback speed, and the mic input on the front panel makes it easy to create personal recordings. JVC’s COMPU LINK system enables integrated control when paired with other compatible JVC components.

This unit is in good cosmetic condition and has undergone our Level One service and testing which should ensure many more years of reliable performance ahead.
