Part of KEF’s KHT1000 home theatre series, the HTS1001 centres its design around the brand’s signature Uni-Q driver array — a concentric configuration that places a 0.6″ aluminium dome tweeter precisely at the acoustic centre of the 3″ mid-bass driver. This single-point source geometry produces an unusually wide and even dispersion pattern that ensures consistent tonal balance across a broad listening area, so every seat in the room benefits from the same imaging and detail rather than only the central sweet spot. It is a genuinely sophisticated engineering approach that continues to define KEF’s identity at every price point.

The sealed cast aluminium enclosures minimise internal resonance and provide the controlled bass roll-off that makes satellite-subwoofer integration seamless, with a premium feel well above what the compact dimensions suggest. Magnetic shielding makes these safe for placement directly beside or below a flat-panel TV without interference.
