This Japanese-manufactured Marantz TT2000 is a classic direct-drive turntable from the early 1980s that combines reliable playback with precision control features. Dating from 1980-1981, this vintage turntable delivers consistent performance and excellent sound quality for discerning vinyl enthusiasts.

The TT2000 features a high-quality direct drive system powered by a brushless, slotless DC servo motor that ensures smooth, consistent playback with minimal wow and flutter. The precision-engineered 12-inch aluminum diecast platter provides excellent stability and resistance to resonance, while the adjustable speed control (±4%) allows fine-tuning for perfect pitch reproduction.

The balanced 216mm tonearm features adjustable tracking weight and anti-skating controls for optimal cartridge performance, along with an auto-return function that helps protect your records and stylus when playback ends. The convenient speed selector allows easy switching between 33⅓ and 45 RPM records.

Housed in an attractive champagne-colored chassis with a protective dust cover, the TT2000 provides both vintage charm and practical functionality. The built-in strobe light helps ensure accurate speed calibration for optimal sound reproduction.

Cartridge: Equipped with a brand new Audio-Technica VM95 Series cartridge with 0.6 mil conical stylus fits half-inch mount turntables. The cartridge’s special coil design delivers a powerful output level of 4.0 mV. It also offers excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. The durable, low-resonance Housing includes threaded inserts that enable the cartridge to be mounted to the headshell with just two screws – no nuts required. And since all VM95 Series share the same body, the stylus can be replaced with any of the six interchangeable at-vmn95 Replacement styli.
