Featuring a precision-engineered DC servo belt-drive system, the SL-BD27U provides accurate platter rotation with minimal wow and flutter while maintaining excellent speed stability. The semi-automatic operation offers manual cueing with automatic return and shutoff at record end, combining user control with convenient automation. The straight tonearm design with T4P plug-in connector system ensures optimal tracking geometry and simplified cartridge mounting.

The included Technics P24 cartridge delivers balanced sound reproduction with its 0.7mil conical diamond stylus, engineered to track at the optimal 1.25 grams for extended record and stylus life. The anti-resonant cabinet construction with spring-loaded rubber feet provides effective vibration isolation, while the removable dust cover protects the mechanism when not in use.

All controls are positioned outside the dust cover for easy access during operation, and the front-panel cueing lever provides precise stylus placement. The 45-rpm adapter is included for singles playback, and the unit connects directly to your receiver’s phono input with the supplied RCA cables and ground wire.
