A compact, Made-in-the-USA center channel speaker from Boston Acoustics, engineered for clarity, placement flexibility, and seamless integration into any home theater system.
Boston Acoustics built a strong reputation for delivering refined, musical sound from compact enclosures, and the Micro 90C is a fine example of that philosophy applied to home theater. The sealed cabinet design — rather than a ported or vented box — provides tighter, more accurate bass reproduction and opens up placement options that ported speakers simply cannot offer. It can be positioned on a shelf, flat on top of a display, or in a cabinet without the bass colorations that ported designs often produce near walls or boundaries.
Dual 3.5-inch copolymer woofers flank a 1-inch tweeter in a symmetrical arrangement designed for wide, even horizontal dispersion — the kind of coverage that ensures dialogue and effects reach every seat in the room with equal clarity. The magnetically shielded cabinet makes it safe for use near CRT televisions or other magnetically sensitive displays. Gold-plated 5-way binding posts accommodate banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wire, giving full flexibility for any speaker cable termination. At 90 dB sensitivity, it is an easy load for any AV receiver, requiring as little as 15 watts to sing.

A 1-inch aluminum dome with Aperture Modal Damping crosses at 3,800 Hz to a 3.5-inch copolymer woofer; 120 Hz to 20 kHz, 89 dB, 8 ohms, so they want a subwoofer under them. Keyhole brackets fitted, magnetically shielded. Made in USA. Very good condition.

Seventeen inches wide and 8.4 lbs, magnetically shielded, response 55 Hz to 50 kHz. From Onkyo's SKS-HT540 series, in the less common silver with a matching grille. Graded Good.

Yamaha NS-C90 Center Speaker – Dual-Angle Tilt, Made in Japan
The cabinet is asymmetrical on purpose: flip it over and it tilts the other way, aiming up at you from a low shelf or down at you from the top of a cabinet. Sealed rather than ported, so it needs no rear clearance. Two full-range drivers, nothing crossing in the vocal band. 6 ohms, 50 watts nominal. Built in Japan; very good condition.
