A modern 5.1-channel Harman Kardon network AV receiver with HDMI switching, 4K pass-through, and built-in streaming — a complete, current-day home theatre hub in one sleek chassis.
The AVR 1510S delivers 75 watts to each of its five channels through Harman Kardon’s high-current-capacity, ultrawide-bandwidth amplifier design, the same engineering philosophy that has defined the brand’s sound for decades. Four 3D-ready HDMI inputs with 4K pass-through feed a single HDMI output with Audio Return Channel, so your TV’s built-in streaming apps play through the receiver with one cable. An advanced digital power supply keeps the whole package to just ten pounds and cool-running — perfectly at home on the glass shelves of modern entertainment furniture.
Streaming is built in: Spotify Connect plays directly from your phone or computer, vTuner internet radio opens up stations worldwide, and DLNA network playback pulls music from computers on your home network. The front-panel USB port plays files from USB drives and connects Apple devices directly. Optical and coaxial digital inputs, a subwoofer output, binding-post speaker terminals, and colour-coded connections round out a genuinely easy receiver to live with.
This unit has undergone our Level 1 service and testing, which should ensure many more years of reliable performance ahead.
A pre-programmed universal remote control is included, operating power, volume, mute, and two input selections. Complete control of all functions is available from the front panel and on-screen display, or from your phone via the free Harman Kardon Remote app over your home network.
Cosmetically graded Good, this unit shows honest signs of regular use, and its minimalist black design presents cleanly in a modern setup.

One hundred watts a channel into 8 ohms across all five, with Dolby Digital, DTS and Pro Logic II. The useful part is the setup depth: a five-position subwoofer crossover from 80 to 200 Hz and an LFE attenuation control, unusual at this price. Video switching is composite only, and there is no 5.1 analog input. The original remote is missing; a pre-programmed universal is included. Condition good.
