Description

Massive, Efficient Paradigm CC-300 V1 Centre Channel Speaker — Made in Canada

The Canadian-made Paradigm CC-300 V1 is a serious, high-performance centre channel speaker from 1995 — one of the most capable home theatre centre channels of its era, built to the same exacting standard as Paradigm’s celebrated bookshelf speakers of the period.

The CC-300 V1 is built around a 3-driver, 2-way bass-reflex design with twin 165mm (6.5″) polypropylene cone woofers mounted in high-pressure die-cast chassis — the same robust driver specification found in Paradigm’s top bookshelf models — flanking a centrally positioned 25mm (1″) treated textile dome tweeter with aluminum former and ferrofluid cooling. The 4th order electroacoustic crossover at 1.5kHz is frequency and phase corrected, ensuring clean, seamless handoff between drivers and excellent on-axis clarity for dialogue and centre-channel content. The quasi-3rd order resistive port design extends bass response to a genuine 38Hz DIN, giving this centre channel a full, grounded sound that most comparably sized speakers simply cannot match.

At 92dB room sensitivity and a 15–175 watt power handling range, the CC-300 V1 is easy to drive and scales confidently with both modest and powerful amplification. The cabinet is magnetically shielded for safe placement immediately adjacent to a CRT television — a thoughtful design feature that reflects the era in which it was built. It integrates naturally with Paradigm’s Monitor, Titan, and Export bookshelf speakers from the same period, making it an ideal match for customers completing or upgrading a vintage Paradigm home theatre system.

Please note that the front logo badge is absent on this unit — cosmetically it is in very good condition otherwise, and the grille cloth covers the driver array cleanly.
