Description

Single (One) Paradigm 4-Driver, 2-Way Dipole Speaker *Cosmetic flaw, please see below*

Unassuming, very well reviewed dipolar surround speaker from Paradigm.

This speaker was a bit of a departure for Paradigm, with a slight wedge shape rather than the rectangular box shape of their previous surround speakers. On each angled baffle is a .75″ CMC tweeter and a 5.5″ MPC woofer. ADP stands for “adapted dipole.” It differs from a conventional dipole by operating out of phase (like a conventional dipole speaker) above the crossover frequency of 2kHz, and operating in phase below the crossover frequency (like a bipole speaker). What this design achieves is a speaker that produces a diffuse soundfield with better bass response than a conventional dipole speaker, since the woofers operate in phase.

High Frequency Drivers: Two x 19-mm (3/4 in) CMC™ domes, Midrange Frequency Drivers: Two x140-mm (5-1/2 in) MPC™ cones, die-cast chassis

Frequency Response On-Axis: ±2dB from 90 Hz – 20 kHz (reverberant soundfield), Sensitivity Room / Anechoic: 90 dB / 87 dB

Power Handling: 15 – 100 Watts at 8 Ohms Impedance

Dimensions: 10.75″H x 9.5″W x 6.6″D, Weight: 12lbs.

Asking $125 for this single speaker.

Original MSRP of $549 plus tax per pair.

The 4 perfect Drivers in this speaker are worth more than our asking price of just $125. This speaker has had the upper piece of vinyl cladding removed. Top could be painted or used as-is in a partially concealed application, or take advantage of this great price for the 4 perfect drivers and cross-over.

Also offering two additional mint condition matching woofers (Midrange Drivers) for this model for $45 each
