A clean, well-built pair of 8.5-foot speaker cables ready to drop into any stereo or home theatre system — Intensifier Audio 14 AWG cable, terminated in-house at Radique Audio with our own banana plugs at all four ends and reinforced with heat-shrink tubing for a long, reliable service life.
The base cable is a heavy-duty 14 AWG twin-conductor design with a substantial black jacket — noticeably denser and more substantial in hand than typical 14 AWG cable, with thick, robust insulation that resists kinks and lays nicely behind equipment racks and along baseboards. 14 gauge is the recommended minimum for runs up to roughly 50 feet on 8-ohm speakers, so at 8.5 feet these cables have plenty of conductor cross-section to deliver full, uncompressed signal to your speakers without audible loss.
Where these cables genuinely stand apart is the termination work. Each end has been hand-finished here at Radique Audio with our own banana plugs, then reinforced at the plug bodies and at the cable joints with black heat-shrink tubing. The heat-shrink does two important jobs: it provides strain relief at the most vulnerable point of any terminated cable (right where the conductor meets the connector), and it gives the finished assembly a clean, professional appearance that integrates beautifully with binding-post terminals on amplifiers, receivers, and quality speakers. Banana plugs make connection and disconnection effortless — no fiddling with bare-wire strands, no risk of stray copper shorting across terminals, and a consistently solid contact every time.
Each cable in the pair measures 102 inches end-to-end (8 feet 6 inches, or approximately 2.6 metres), giving you genuine usable length for typical mains, surrounds, or atmos placement without the slack and clutter of an oversized run. Polarity is easy to track via the jacket markings, and both cables in the pair are matched in length — important for maintaining channel balance and a stable centre image.
