Our own Gold Series subwoofer cable: gold-plated corrosion-resistant connectors, heavy shielding, and slim plug jackets that fit behind a sub pushed against a wall. Four stock lengths, 2 to 10 metres, so the run from your amplifier to wherever the sub really sits is one cable.

Mirage LF-150 10″ Active Subwoofer – Made in Canada, 600 Watt Peak, MOSFET Amplifier, Very Good Condition
A solidly built, made-in-Canada powered subwoofer with a real 10-inch driver, a discrete MOSFET amplifier, and 45 lbs of cabinet behind it.
The LF-150 was the senior subwoofer in Mirage’s low-frequency line, and it was designed as the bass foundation for their Omnipolar satellite systems — the partner the Omnisat was voiced against. That pedigree shows in how it behaves. It is not a boomy one-note sub; it was built to integrate with small, fast satellites without drawing attention to itself.
Power comes from a discrete MOSFET Class A/B amplifier rated at 150 watts continuous with 600 watts of dynamic peak — a fourfold headroom reserve, which is why it stays composed on material that makes lesser subs audibly strain. The 10-inch Polypropylene Titanium Deposit Hybrid woofer runs a 1.5-inch voice coil and a 28-ounce magnet, in a front-ported bass reflex cabinet reaching down to 23Hz.
The controls sit on the front rather than hidden around the back, which anyone who has tried to dial in a subwoofer wedged into a corner will appreciate. Output level, phase, and a variable low-pass filter from 40Hz to 120Hz are all reachable without moving the cabinet. Connectivity is generous for the class: low level in, high level in and out, and a crossover bypass for use with a receiver’s own bass management. There is also an auto-on circuit, so it wakes with a signal and stands down on its own.
Two practical touches worth mentioning. It is magnetically shielded, so placement beside a CRT or other sensitive gear is not a problem — and the power cable is removable, which makes both routing and replacement far easier than the moulded captive cords of the era.
Condition
Cosmetically this is in very good condition, the black brushed metal finish presenting well.
It has been thoroughly inspected and tested to confirm full functionality.
Features: Discrete MOSFET Class A/B amplifier Front-mounted level, phase and crossover controls Auto-on circuit Magnetically shielded Removable power cable Front-ported bass reflex cabinet Black brushed metal finish
Built in Canada, and a genuinely substantial subwoofer at a fraction of what it cost new. The LF-150 retailed at $500 USD, around $700 Canadian with tax.

🔌 Don’t Forget the Subwoofer Cable
A subwoofer is only as good as the cable feeding it. Our Gold Series Subwoofer Cable is a properly shielded, gold-plated RCA lead built for the job, available in four lengths from 2m (6.5′) up to 10m (32′) — so you can run the sub where the room wants it rather than where the cable allows. 👉

Yamaha’s Active Servo Technology couples a negative-impedance drive amplifier to a Helmholtz resonator port — the Air Woofer opening — so the amplifier corrects the driver’s motion as it works. 100 watts into a 25 cm cone, rated down to 25 Hz, with a continuously variable 50–150 Hz high-cut at 24 dB per octave. Speaker-level and line inputs both. Very good condition.
JVC SX-PW33 Slim Tower Subwoofer — 6.5in, 100W, High-Pass Out
A tall, narrow bass column meant to stand beside a cabinet rather than in front of it — 8.25 inches across the front and unusually deep at 17, which is the trade: the depth buys back the internal volume the narrow baffle gives away, so a 6.5 inch woofer is properly loaded in a strip of floor barely wider than a hardcover book. Driven by an integrated 100 watt amplifier, with speaker-level inputs and high-pass outputs so it works with an amplifier that has no subwoofer output at all. Good condition.
Infinity Minuette MPS Passive Subwoofer – Dual 6.5″, Front-Ported
A passive subwoofer, which means no power cord, no built-in amplifier and no electronic crossover to fail. Two 6.5-inch polypropylene woofers in a bandpass box, 40 to 150Hz, wired high-level — your amplifier's front outputs go in, your main speakers come off the pass-through, and the sub keeps everything below about 150Hz. Twenty-eight pounds of moulded composite. Very good condition.

It is a 3-ohm load and needs a receiver with a dedicated passive-subwoofer output; it should not go on ordinary speaker terminals. No power cord, no plate amp to age out. Good cosmetic condition.
