A voice-matched centre channel speaker from Tannoy’s HTS 200 home cinema range, finished in black ash and featuring dual woofers flanking the signature titanium WideBand dome tweeter.
The HTS200 centre channel shares the same driver complement as the HTS200 towers — a 19mm titanium WideBand dome tweeter with neodymium magnet system flanked by two 75mm long-throw paper cone woofers, crossed over at 3 kHz. This ensures seamless tonal matching across the front soundstage, so dialogue and effects pan smoothly from left to right without shifts in character or timbre. The titanium dome extends high-frequency response to 40 kHz, bringing clarity and presence to speech that keeps dialogue intelligible even during complex surround mixes.
The low-profile horizontal form factor at just 120mm tall fits neatly above or below a display. The 5-way binding post terminals accept bare wire, pins, spades, or banana plugs. Magnetic shielding allows safe placement near CRT displays.

Sealed rather than ported, so it needs no rear clearance. Two full-range drivers, nothing crossing in the vocal band. 6 ohms, 50 watts nominal. Built in Japan; very good condition.
