This Yamaha DVD-C900 is a well-built 5-disc carousel player that works very well as a CD player and digital transport, with both optical and coaxial digital outputs and the original Yamaha remote included.
Originally positioned as a high-end DVD/CD changer, the DVD-C900 features a 96 kHz / 24-bit audio DAC, separate power and grounding arrangements, and high-quality parts aimed at strong audio performance. As a CD source it offers a 2 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, a 115 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 100 dB dynamic range, and an exceptionally low 0.002% total harmonic distortion rating, making it very capable as a dedicated CD player or transport into a modern DAC or AV receiver. The five-disc tray allows convenient album rotation for longer listening sessions, and the original remote makes disc and track control from the listening position straightforward. DVD video playback is not currently working on this unit, so it is being sold and priced primarily as a CD player / transport for audio use.

Because DVD video playback is not currently working on this unit, it has been discounted to reflect the limitation while still offering excellent value as an audio‑focused CD player/transport.

NAD T572 5-Disc CD Changer – HDCD Decoder, Coax & Optical Out
Five discs at once with an HDCD decoder on board — High Definition Compatible Digital folds roughly twenty bits of range into an ordinary sixteen-bit CD, and most players never had the decoder to read it. The carousel reloads four while the fifth keeps playing, which the cheaper T571 could not do. Coaxial and optical digital out, original NAD remote. Very good condition.
Technics SL-PD6 5-Disc CD Changer, MASH DAC, Optical Out
A 1999 five-disc carousel from the end of the Technics CD era, made in Japan — four discs swap out while the fifth keeps playing. MASH 1-bit conversion, 0.007% distortion, 100 dB signal-to-noise, fixed 2 V RCA output and a Toslink optical out. Headphone jack with its own level control up front. All five positions tested and CD-R playback confirmed; a compatible non-original remote is included. Good cosmetic condition.
Sony CDP-C260Z 5-Disc Carousel CD Changer w/ Optical Out
Five discs on a carousel, and Disc Ex-Change lets you swap four of the trays while the fifth keeps playing. This one has confirmed CD-R playback, which a good number of changers this age simply cannot manage. High Density Linear Converter D/A inside, and an optical digital output if you would rather use your own converter. Good cosmetic condition; Level 1 serviced here.
