A Polk Audio Monitor CS2 Series II center channel speaker in black, with dual 6½-inch woofers for full-bodied, clear dialogue. It has been tested on our bench and is in very good condition.
What it is
Crystal-clear dialogue. Subtle on-screen sounds. Powerful effects. That’s what you can expect from Polk’s CS2, and the Series II carries it forward. It is the center speaker Polk designed to be the perfect match for its Monitor Series speakers, so it is the natural anchor for a Polk Monitor home theatre, and it sits just as comfortably in front of any other system that needs clear, full-bodied dialogue.
The CS2 Series II is a two-way design with a one-inch Dynamic Balance dome tweeter between two 6½-inch Bi-Laminate composite Dynamic Balance woofers. The woofer cones are stiff and lightweight for rich sound and low distortion, and you’ll love the way this sturdy speaker anchors the movie action to your television picture. A critically tuned flared port on the back minimizes port noise (“chuffing”); give it a few inches of breathing room from the wall behind. The enclosure is built from non-resonant MDF, and the drivers are magnetically shielded, so the CS2 can sit right beside, above or below a TV. At 90 dB sensitivity and 8 ohms, it is easy for any home theatre receiver to drive.
Around the back, a pair of five-way binding posts takes bare wire, spades, pins or banana plugs. We recommend our own Radique Audio gold-plated banana plugs, and our Custom Speaker Cable Builder will make a pair to length, ready to plug in.

If you would rather terminate cable you already own, we make our own gold-plated banana plugs and spade connectors as well. 👉
