Denon DCM-420 5-Disc CD Changer Coax Out & Variable Out & Remote
This Denon DCM-420 is a 5-disc carousel CD changer from the early 1990s that combines solid build quality, a pleasant Denon house sound, and both fixed and variable analog outputs, making it easy to integrate into a wide range of stereo setups.
It uses an 18-bit “double super linear” DAC with 8x oversampling to deliver smooth, detailed playback from standard audio CDs, with a rated dynamic range of 97 dB and very low 0.03% total harmonic distortion. The five‑disc roulette-style changer lets you load several albums at once for extended listening, and the presence of both fixed 2 V line outputs and a variable-level output means it can feed a standard integrated amplifier or be run directly into a power amplifier with volume controlled from the player. This example is in good cosmetic condition with normal light wear for its age, has been tested and confirmed working, includes the original Denon remote control and printed manual, provides a coaxial digital output and variable analog output, and does not support playback of CD-R or CD-RW discs (pressed CDs only).

Sony CDP-C260Z 5-Disc Carousel CD Changer w/ Optical Out

Sony CDP-CE375 5-Disc CD Changer — Optical Out | Play & Exchange
A five-disc carousel using Sony's Play 1/Exchange 4 mechanism — you can swap four discs while the fifth keeps playing. Hybrid Pulse D/A conversion, 0.0045% distortion, better than 102 dB signal-to-noise, and a Toslink optical output for an outboard DAC or receiver. Reads CD-R and CD-RW. A third-party universal remote comes with it, covering the key functions but not all of the original ones.
Yamaha CDC-902 5-Disc CD Changer – Original Remote, Plays CD-R
Near the top of Yamaha's Natural Sound carousel range, and the numbers say so — 106dB signal to noise, 96dB dynamic range, 0.003% distortion. The line output is variable from the remote, so it can drive a power amp directly in a simple system. It reads CD-Rs, which Yamaha never claimed for this generation; we verified that here. Original remote. Cosmetically graded Good.
NAD T572 5-Disc CD Changer – HDCD Decoder, Coax & Optical Out
Five discs at once with an HDCD decoder on board — High Definition Compatible Digital folds roughly twenty bits of range into an ordinary sixteen-bit CD, and most players never had the decoder to read it. The carousel reloads four while the fifth keeps playing, which the cheaper T571 could not do. Coaxial and optical digital out, original NAD remote. Very good condition.
Technics SL-PD6 5-Disc CD Changer, MASH DAC, Optical Out
A 1999 five-disc carousel from the end of the Technics CD era, made in Japan — four discs swap out while the fifth keeps playing. MASH 1-bit conversion, 0.007% distortion, 100 dB signal-to-noise, fixed 2 V RCA output and a Toslink optical out. Headphone jack with its own level control up front. All five positions tested and CD-R playback confirmed; a compatible non-original remote is included. Good cosmetic condition.
