Description

The AVR 130 is a versatile and multi featured A/V receiver, incorporating a wide range of listening options. In addition to Dolby Digital and DTS decoding for digital sources, a broad choice of analog surround modes are available for use with sources such as CD, VCR, TV broadcasts and the AVR 130’s own FM/AM tuner. Along with the latest Dolby Pro Logic* II decoding technology, Dolby 3 Stereo and custom Hall and Theater modes, only Harman Kardon receivers offer Logic 7® to create a wider, more enveloping field environment and more defined fly-overs and pans.

Another Harman Kardon exclusive is VMAx®, which uses proprietary processing to create an open, spacious sound field even when only two front speakers are available.

Finally,A Stereo-Direct mode bypasses the digital processor to preserve all of the subtleties of older analog, two-channel materials, while bass management, available in the surround and Stereo-Digital modes, improves your ability to tailor the sound to suit your room acoustics or taste.

The AVR 130 boasts no less than 6 (SIX!) Digital Inputs (3 Optical, 3 Coaxial), a pair of digital outputs, a Sub-woofer Pre-out, and Color-Coded Input, Output and Speaker Terminals which comply with the latest CEA standards for easy installation. It also features a “Night Mode” making it easier to hear dialog at low volumes, while reducing the peak volumes (such as gun fire, explosions etc), and 5.1 channel inputs ideal for SACD and DVD Audio sources.

The AVR 130 offers a conservatively-rated 40 Watts per channel in Surround mode, and 50 Watts per channel in stereo mode.

If you’re looking for a versatile, high quality, easy to use AVR at a reasonable price then look no further.
