High quality, versatile Pre-amplifier from Nikko, excellent sound, working perfectly after being freshly serviced, including partial recap. Top of chassis has some scratches (likely from stacking) but face is in very good condition.
This preamp features 4 line level inputs, 2 tape outputs, and a phono input, (switchable for either MM or MC cartridges); it also offers a processor loop for adding an equalizer, and it has 2 outputs, all on RCA connectors.
The front panel offers bass, treble and balance controls, a muting switch, subsonic filter, cartridge selection, full tape recording functionality, and sound processor switching, and a headphone output.

Rotel called this a stereo control amplifier rather than a preamp, and it earns the name — no tone controls, no filters, no loudness, just four line inputs and two tape loops with dubbing either way. The phono stage runs moving magnet and moving coil through separate buffers, and line distortion is no greater than 0.004%. Stamped Tokyo, Japan on the rear panel. Excellent cosmetic condition.

Bronze-anodised aluminium case, a real moving-coil phono input alongside moving-magnet, and a signal path that has been freshly recapped. A couple of light marks on the casework, otherwise Very Good.
