Pioneer SX-880 Vintage Stereo Receiver – Serviced, 60 WPC, Ottawa Valley Cherry Cabinet
A Made-in-Japan Pioneer SX-880 from 1978, this is one of the strongest all-rounders in Pioneer’s legendary x80 receiver series — a sweet spot model with real muscle, elegant silver-face styling, and the kind of engineering that makes late-1970s Pioneer gear so addictive. Rated at 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms, the SX-880 delivers clearly more authority than the SX-780 while keeping the same clean, lively, highly musical character that made the line famous. This example has had its original cabinet refinished by Radique Audio in genuine Ottawa Valley cherry veneer, giving it the warm, furniture-grade presence the factory vinyl wrap could only dream about.
Pair it with our RA-Twin II Bluetooth streamer and you get the best of both worlds — classic Pioneer power and control with dead-simple streaming from your phone, tablet, or laptop. If you want the slightly smaller sibling, see our Pioneer SX-780 listing. Want more headroom still? Step up to the Pioneer SX-980.

Eight surge-protected, filtered AC outlets with isolated banks for digital, video, audio and high-current components — four always-on, four switched.
Enough outlets for the whole stack, not just the amplifier — television, Blu-ray and streamer alongside a receiver, or turntable, CD player and cassette deck alongside a vintage amp. 3,500 joule protection, EMI/RFI filtration to 58 dB, and surge protection on the coax and network lines most conditioners leave unguarded. Patented ASP voltage monitoring and a 15 amp resettable breaker.
Brand new, unopened, in original packaging with full manufacturer warranty.
Gold Plated Pin Connectors – Flexible Pins, Radique Audio
Made for spring clips and guillotine terminals, where bare wire frays and works loose. The pin flexes rather than sitting rigid, so it does not lever on a forty-year-old terminal, and two set screws hold the wire instead of one. Takes 12 to 18 AWG — 12 is a tight fit. Colour-coded non-conductive jackets and a textured grip. Sold in 1, 2, 4 or 10 pairs.

Pioneer SX-50 Silver Face Receiver – 50 WPC, Pre-Outs, 1983
Fifty watts a channel into 8 ohms at 0.007% distortion, and — unusually for a receiver this size — pre-out and main-in jacks on the back, so it can feed a subwoofer, take an equalizer in the loop, or hand off to a larger power amp. Introduced in 1983 with switchable CD and TV audio inputs, presets held by three AA cells, and the silver face of the decade that was ending. Graded Very Good.
Kenwood KR-A4070 Stereo Receiver – 60WPC, Phono, Original Remote
Sixty watts a channel into 8 ohms across the full band at 0.01% distortion, with an MM phono input at 2.5mV, a tape monitor loop, and separate bass, treble and balance. The original Kenwood remote is here, which is uncommon on a receiver of this age. Level 1 serviced; cosmetically graded Good, with honest wear for its years.
Sherwood S-7250 CP Stereo Receiver – 20WPC, Phono, Wood Cabinet
Twenty watts a channel into 8 ohms across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz band, an MM phono input at 80 dB signal-to-noise, and a tape monitor loop. Sherwood built these in small runs in Chicago and sold them through the same shops that carried Marantz and McIntosh. Still in its original wood cabinet. Level 1 serviced here; condition Very Good.

Sherwood S-8250 CP AM/FM Stereo Receiver 25 WPC
