The short answer

The RA-USB is a compact 50 W multi-port USB charger from Radique Audio: one 20 W USB-C Power Delivery port plus three USB-A ports with Quick Charge 3.0, charging up to four devices at once. It’s 45 mm wide, protected against overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits and overheating, certified CE, FCC and RoHS, and covered by a 1-year warranty. Plug it into a wall outlet, or into the accessory outlet on the back of a vintage receiver or amplifier.

Made for the back of your vintage amp

A huge range of vintage receivers and amplifiers have AC accessory outlets on the back panel. Plug the RA-USB into one and your RA-Twin II, phone and earbuds charge right at the stereo, with no extra wall outlet and no tangle of adapters.

Switched outlet: the RA-USB is live only while the amp is on.
Unswitched outlet: it charges around the clock.
Outlets are usually marked with a rating, such as “100W MAX”; the RA-USB’s 50 W maximum fits comfortably within it.

Can I plug the RA-USB into my vintage amplifier?

Yes, if it has AC accessory outlets on the back panel, as a huge range of vintage receivers and amplifiers do. The RA-USB’s 50 W maximum fits comfortably within the typical rating marked beside those outlets, such as “100W MAX”.

Should I use the switched or unswitched outlet?

Either works. A switched outlet powers the RA-USB only while the amp is on; an unswitched outlet keeps it charging around the clock.

How many devices can it charge at once?

Four: one on the 20 W USB-C Power Delivery port and three on the USB-A ports, for 50 W in total.

Will it fast-charge my phone?

Yes. The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery for current iPhones and Android phones, and a USB-A port supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 for compatible Android phones.

Can it charge a laptop?

It’s designed for phones, tablets, earbuds, watches and small devices like the RA-Twin II. Its 20 W USB-C port isn’t meant for laptops that need more power.

Can I use it when I travel?

Yes, anywhere in North America: one compact charger replaces several wall adapters for hotels, cottages and Airbnbs.

Do you ship to the United States?
