The Driver and Cabinet
Built around a 10-inch Dynamic Balance polymer composite cone driver in a front-firing ported MDF enclosure, the PSW10 is designed to add deep, controlled low-frequency reinforcement to any stereo or surround system without demanding significant floor space. The built-in amplifier delivers 50 watts RMS with 100 watts of dynamic peak power, providing enough headroom for movie soundtracks and music with real low-frequency content. Non-resonant MDF cabinet construction with 0.75-inch baffles and internal bracing keeps the enclosure tight and focused, minimizing cabinet coloration and helping the driver stay controlled even at higher output levels.
Connections
Connectivity is straightforward and flexible — stereo RCA line-level inputs accept signals from any receiver or processor with a subwoofer or line-level output, while spring-clip speaker-level inputs allow direct connection from amplifier or receiver speaker terminals for systems without a dedicated subwoofer output. A variable low-pass crossover (80–160 Hz), independent volume control, and a toggle phase switch on the rear panel allow easy integration with a wide variety of main speakers and room placements. Auto on/off circuitry powers the subwoofer up when signal is detected and returns it to standby during quiet periods.
