Made in Japan, the Sansui A-900P is a classic mid-1980s DC servo integrated amplifier from one of the most revered names in vintage Japanese hi-fi — offering a genuine 70 watts per channel, a clean minimalist silver faceplate, and the natural, musical sound for which Sansui has long been celebrated.
Produced from 1985 to 1986, the A-900P represents an interesting chapter in Sansui’s long integrated-amplifier story — a compact, well-built unit with a refined DC servo output stage design that delivers clean, low-distortion amplification across the full audio bandwidth. Specifications are honest and well-balanced: 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms, just 0.05% total harmonic distortion, and a genuinely extended frequency response from 5 Hz to 60 kHz.

This 1991 design also carries a Dolby Pro Logic decoder with its own 15-watt rear amplifier section, so it can run a compact surround setup on its own. Made in Japan; good cosmetic condition.

Sold through Sears in the late seventies and heavier than that suggests — 22.9 lb, a 450 VA power rating, and metal knobs on everything. Two separate phono inputs, tape monitor and dubbing, subsonic and high filters, A/B speakers, and a front-panel mic mixing input. No factory manual survives, so the 80 WPC is our own conservative estimate. Level 1 serviced here; good cosmetic condition.
