Sony SS-WS91 Passive Subwoofer | Front-Firing, 3 Ohm
A compact, bass reflex passive subwoofer from Sony’s DAV home theater series, designed for use with AV receivers that feature a dedicated passive subwoofer output.
The SS-WS91 is a no-frills, purpose-built passive subwoofer designed for home theater use. Its bass reflex cabinet design uses a front-facing port to extend bass response and improve efficiency from the 160 mm (6.3-inch) cone woofer. Please note that this is a passive subwoofer — it requires an AV receiver with a dedicated passive subwoofer speaker output to function. This is a relatively uncommon feature on modern AV receivers, and buyers should confirm their receiver supports a passive subwoofer connection before purchasing. It is not compatible with a standard powered subwoofer pre-out (LFE) jack.
The cabinet is finished in black and has a clean, unobtrusive profile. As with every component we sell at Radique Audio, this unit has been thoroughly tested before listing.
