The Cinema 100 is the standmount / satellite anchor of Paradigm’s current Cinema Series and represents the kind of trickle-down engineering that Paradigm has built its reputation on: drivers, voicing, and design philosophy borrowed from the Reference and Premier lines, repackaged into a compact, value-driven satellite that punches well above its size and price. Acoustically, the 100 is a 2-driver, 2-way acoustic-suspension (sealed) design pairing Paradigm’s 1-inch S-PAL satin-anodized pure-aluminum dome tweeter — the same S-PAL tweeter technology used on considerably more expensive Paradigm models — with a 3.5-inch mineral-filled polypropylene mid / bass driver on a 1-inch high-temperature voice coil.

The cabinet itself is the speaker’s defining visual signature: a sculpted, mineral-filled polymer enclosure with the gloss-black finish polished to a deep, mirror-quality shine that wouldn’t look out of place on a piece of high-end industrial design. The mineral-filled construction is acoustically inert (heavily damped against panel resonance and flex) and visually matches the high-gloss aesthetic of any modern living-room AV setup beautifully. The result is a satellite that genuinely looks and feels considerably more expensive than its price tag suggests.

The included integrated removable shelf-stand bases give the speakers a slightly forward-tilted presentation that aims the drivers correctly at a seated listener — a real audible advantage in any setup where the speakers are placed on a shelf, console, or tabletop below ear level. The bases are easily removable for wall-mounting (Cinema 100 satellites include integrated wall-mount fittings) or for installation on dedicated floor stands (sold separately).

Power handling is a generous 15–100 watts with a 50-watt maximum input rating, and the speakers are happy with any quality amplifier from about 15 watts per channel upward. Sensitivity is a useful 88 dB in-room (85 dB anechoic), so the pair plays effortlessly with even modest amplifier power. The 8-ohm nominal impedance is comfortable for any modern integrated amp, AVR, or two-channel receiver.
